Become a Member

We are always happy to welcome new members so If you are interested in any aspect of amateur theatre either acting  on stage or helping behind the scenes here are some ways you can become involved.

Membership of The Tarn Players is curently €50 per year (May to April). Members joining mid year will be charged a pro-rata rate.

Acting

If you are interested in treading the boards please contact us below with information about your past acting experience, you may be asked to audition.

Backstage

There are lots of ways you can be involved with a production backstage including stage management, stage crew, set building, painting sets, props, costumes, hair and make up, sound and lighting. If one or more of these interest you please contact us below and let us know which you would like to be considered for and any experience you have had.

Front of House 

If you are a people person then maybe helping out front of house is for you? We are always looking for people to meet and greet our audiences by taking tickets at the door, ushering them into the theatre or serving behind the bar; just let us know which suits you best.
